Today, the North Carolina House of Representatives gave bipartisan approval to House Resolution 897, which extends support for the nation of Israel in light of the recent attacks by Hamas on Israeli civilians.
North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore said, “Israel and the United States of America have been the closest of friends and allies thanks to the 75-year partnership between our two countries, built on mutual interests and shared values. The recent attacks on their innocent civilians by Hamas terrorists were unprovoked and brutally inhumane.”
He continued, “As our closest ally and friend in the Middle East, Israel deserves our unfettered support as they respond to this act of terrorism on their nation. I urge Congress and the Biden administration to extend our financial, intelligence, and any other support required by our friend Israel.”
