Yesterday, the North Carolina House of Representatives gave bipartisan approval to House Resolution 897, which extends support for the nation of Israel in light of the recent attacks by Hamas on Israeli civilians.
NC House Speaker Tim Moore said, “Yesterday, the North Carolina House of Representatives gave bipartisan approval to House Resolution 897, which extends our support to Israel in light of the recent attacks on their citizens by Hamas terrorists. The resolution also urges Congress and the Biden administration to extend our financial, intelligence, and any other support required by our friend Israel.”
He said, “For most of us, this was a simple choice: Denounce evil or walk away. Unfortunately, 12 of our members chose to take a walk. I chose to take a stand. Today, we will lower the North Carolina flag to half staff at the North Carolina Legislative Building in honor of the Israeli citizens slaughtered in these heinous attacks.”
