Rep. Susan Martin to Chair House Finance, Commerce Committees

Raleigh, N.C. – Representative Susan Martin (R-Wilson) released the following statement thanking her constituents and Speaker Moore for the opportunity to serve North Carolina as chairwoman of both the House Finance and House Commerce Committees:

“Last week I was honored to officially be sworn in for my third term in the House. It is truly a privilege to represent the people of North Carolina. I’m excited that Speaker Moore selected me to Chair the Finance and Commerce committees this session. We are building a strong leadership team and I am energized by the opportunity to play a key role in setting policy priorities that will expand economic opportunities in our state.”

“These last four years, we’ve made great strides in moving North Carolina in the right direction, and I’m looking forward to increasing my efforts to make our state a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
