Raleigh, N.C. – State House Speaker Tim Moore (R-Cleveland) will visit Western Carolina University on Thursday to support state budget investments in a $16.5 million renovation of its campus steam plant and the N.C. Promise program that guarantees $500 tuition to its students.
Speaker Moore will visit with students and university officials on a tour of campus facilities, including the steam plant, forensic science classrooms, and the ongoing construction of the Apodaca Science Building that is funded through the ConnectNC bond approved in Moore’s first term as Speaker.
