Speaker Moore Thanks Press, House Members and Staff for Successful Crossover Week

Raleigh, N.C. – North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore thanked members of the press, legislative staff, policy advocates and fellow representatives near the end of a successful ‘crossover’ week that marks a halfway point for the legislative session:

“This session the Republican-led House has sought to strengthen workforce training, improve public safety and education while maintaining our commitment to state government reforms that make North Carolina the best business climate in the country.”

“There are a number of priorities remaining for House Republicans to consider this session, including enacting further tax cuts, passing another balanced budget and protecting the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens across North Carolina.”

“I appreciate the hard work, patience and dedication of everyone who works in and around the House of Representatives this week.  It’s a pleasure to work in this body with an outstanding group of people who work here each day to improve the lives of North Carolinians.”
