Proposal would provide $1.3 billion for K-12 capital construction needs, State Superintendent Mark Johnson offers support for proposal

Additional $300 million would be granted for UNC institutions as well as $300 million for community college facility needs

Raleigh, N.C. – Following his nomination for a third term as Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives this week, Speaker Tim Moore (R-Cleveland) said he would file legislation and travel the state in 2019 to support the legislature’s second public education bond in three years. Absentee Ballots Included in Bipartisan Voter ID Bill Approved by N.C. House

State Board of Elections would establish absentee voter ID rules by 2020

New N.C. Lottery Fund Commits $2 Billion to Needs-Based School Construction Over 10 Years
